Caja de acuarelas_variación III is part of one of Óscar Molina’s open projects. It is the third variation developed from the photograph of an old box of watercolour cubes. An exhibition and a video are the precedent variations. 

 

This edition consists of a recycled cardboard box containing 80 printed cards in a postcard format that reproduce the 80 watercolour cubes and the colour names in black and white.

 

With Caja de acuarelas, Óscar Molina starts a series of projects in which he explores the relationship between image and text as an open proposition to an active viewer who completes the sense of the work. It represents an invitation to create a personal experience through reading and a relationship between the viewer and the work.
